Shown alongide the "Scarabs" top and "Bustle" skirt, "Profile" is made of lace covered in printed silk chiffon at top and a burnout silk velvet on the leg. The chiffon is screenprinted with the Hieroglyphs print and is hand painted with colors found in the Book of the Dead. The velvet is printed with scarab beetles, an egyptian amulet of protection for the deceased from being destroyed by earthly insects so that their soul can safely return to their preserved body on earth when necessary.
