In the Eastern European vampire myth, vampires were people who died of a sickness and rose from their graves at night to feed on blood, usually that of stray livestock. One of the signs of a vampire would be disheveled, bitten and ripped clothing, which could be checked when the body of a suspected vampire was exumed. The "Disheveled" jumpsuit draws from this idea and is made to look like a shirt that was torn and worn sideways as the vampire climbed out of its grave. |
